- Quick mode treats entered W-2 salary as a federal- and California-AGI proxy, applies the standard deduction and high-AGI-limited basic exemption credit, and approximates the official 2025 tax table with the published marginal schedule.
- Quick mode applies the same entered home price on both sides; selected Los Angeles County city property-tax rates are planning medians, other California places use BOE county-average planning proxies, and Nevada price is used as a proxy for taxable value.
- The California selector covers all 546 city and county jurisdiction rows in CDTFA's July 2026 table; five generic county rows without a published numeric value require the official address lookup before transfer to Advanced.
- Published jurisdiction rates are still not address guarantees; the exact CDTFA address result controls when district boundaries or rates differ.
